The Principal Secretary, Wilson Nyakera Irungu, recently visited SECO accompanied by senior officials from the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA). The visit highlighted the strong capacity of local company expertise and reasserted our position as one of the leading infrastructure and marine engineering companies in Kenya.
This visit came at a time when SECO unveiled the Alpha 2500, which is the largest locally built marine vessel in East Africa, meeting internationally recognized IRCLASS standards. Both parties agreed to enhance co-operation and knowledge sharing in order to enhance the growth of the maritime industry in the region.
